How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About the role
    Replenishment Planner

Our journey began back in 1929. Since then, we’ve continued to build a strong and resilient business with a great future. It's why we believe we’re the best foodservice provider in the country.

Where has your journey taken you so far?

Do you have similar experience in supply chain planning?
Are you organised and motivated by results?
Do you enjoy working with people?
Then why not make our journey your journey?

Play an important part in our journey

As a Replenishment Planner you will join our Supply Chain department, responsible for making sure our depots are replenished with the right products at the right time. We support the business from all over the country with teams working in Devon all the way up to Scotland.

You can expect a varied and challenging role as we strive to be the continued supplier of choice by providing outstanding ‘first time’ stock availability for our customers.

You will be responsible for the replenishment of a number of depots, using our demand planning system and working closely with external suppliers, haulers and depot admin teams to make sure products are delivered into the business in line with customer needs. You’ll become an expert on your product category whilst using forecasting data to balance how much stock is needed to meet customer demands whilst minimizing stock loss.

We are a people-centered business with years of experience to help build your knowledge quickly. You will also be working with colleagues across Buying, Marketing, Depot teams and National Accounts, so being able to form good working relationships and communicate effectively will be essential.

You are results driven and can seek out commercial opportunities to exceed our stock income targets. Customer requirements and business priorities will continually change so you’ll need to be flexible and be able to adapt quickly.

You’ll be joining the team at an exciting time as we modernize the way that we work, using data to inform our decisions and deliver record breaking service.

    A journey that gives back

We want your career with us to be as rewarding as possible. So, you’ll get lots in return for your hard work. That includes benefits that can support your wellbeing and financial security, and give you peace of mind.

    The essentials

33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
A pension - contribute 4% and we’ll match you (after year 1, we’ll match your contributions up to 6%)
Life cover that you can increase.
Access to confidential support and counselling, when you need it.
A health plan that gives you money back on everyday medical costs for all the family, as well as access to a digital GP.The extras

Exclusive range of high street discounts including cinema, tech, travel, fashion, food and drink.
Get paid as you earn - access to up to 20% of your pay before payday.
We want everyone to join our journey

We’re on a journey towards creating the best possible workplace. We’ve got some way to go, but we’re building a diverse and caring workforce. One that’s filled with forward-thinking people who each bring unique talents and skills. So whatever your life experience, we want you to join us - and you really can come as you are!
