Salary: £30,000 -£39,000
Location: Swadlincote
Contract: Monday – Friday - DAYS
The PDI Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used plant equipment
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
Ensure all equipment is prepared to a high standard before handover
Complete job cards, inspection reports, and documentation accurately
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work closely with the service and operations teams to meet deadlinesPDI Engineer Requirements:
Ideally experience working with plant equipment excavators, dumpers, loaders, telehandlers, Platforms or forklifts)
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) desirableWhat We Offer
