Salary: £32,916 to £51,048 (In line with your current pay scale)History Teacher
Academics are currently working with a "Good" secondary school in Dover who are seeking a committed and vibrant History Teacher on a permanent basis in September 2026.
Located closely to local transport links, you will be based in a building with fantastic facilities within a friendly and supportive department. The team is committed to providing staff with high quality support and professional development.
What skills and experience we're looking for in a History Teacher
Candidates must be able to teach across the ability and age range, supporting the development of History to the highest standards for all pupils at Key Stages 3 and 4.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified History teacher
Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong and effective classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum and have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum development particularly those relating to History
High expectations for yourself and the children to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
You will be dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
