How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Hiring Production Operatives

    We are recruiting Production Operatives for a frozen food manufacturing company located in Boston.

    The candidate will be working with Line Leaders & other staff involved in the packing of quality frozen product to the point that it is supermarket ready. It will involve removing all Foreign Material (FM) such as wood, plastic, paper from the product and ensuring that all safety checks and procedures are followed. Previous food production experience is desirable but not necessary to apply.

    It's a heavy duty role, candidate must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, stacking.

    Rates of Pay: £13.00 - £13.56. Overtime paid after 40h. Overtime rate is 1.5 x basic rate. Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

    Weekly pay. Paid 30 min break. PPE provided. Canteen. Parking on site. Location: 20 min walk from the city centre.

    Shift pattern is Monday to Friday 8h, rotation: 6am – 2pm, 2pm -10pm, 10pm -6am. Shifts rotate on a weekly basis.
