Scunthorpe | Full-Time | Ongoing Water Utility Contract

We’re seeking an experienced and dependable HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join a growing team delivering critical drainage and liquid waste services across major water utility sites. If you’ve worked within the utilities or water industry and want a long-term opportunity with a respected operation, this could be the role for you.
The Role
You’ll be operating specialist vacuum tankers and supporting essential frontline utility works, including:
* Responding to emergency call-outs involving flooding, sewer blockages, pollution incidents, and drainage issues
* Carrying out the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of liquid waste
* Completing daily vehicle inspections and compliance paperwork
* Working in line with strict health, safety, and environmental procedures
* Supporting operational teams across a range of utility projects
This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility, and ongoing development opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
* Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Class 1 advantageous)
* Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* No more than 6 penalty points
* Previous utilities or water industry experience essential
* Tanker or jetting experience advantageous
* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
* Flexible approach to nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs
* Reliable, professional, and willing to learn new skills

* First Aid
* Manual Handling
* High-Pressure Water Jetting experience
