Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and nurturing small Christian faith primary school in St Albans from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit school community where staff are genuinely valued and children are at the heart of everything they do.
The successful candidate will ideally be available 4 - 5 days per week (dependent on budget/costings) and will play a key role supporting teaching and learning across the school.
The role will include:
Covering PPA across the school
Delivering targeted interventions to support pupil progress
Providing cover for unplanned staff sickness when required
Supporting pupils across a range of year groups
Bringing a specialism in Music, French or PE (desirable but not essential)
We are looking for someone who:
Holds HLTA status or has equivalent experience
Is confident leading whole-class learning
Is flexible, proactive and organised
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Can quickly adapt to the needs of the school day
