How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Reporting directly to the Process Engineering Manager, you will work closely with Production Section Leaders and the QA Engineering team to support process performance, product quality and future manufacturing capability.

As Process Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, reliability and output across all production areas, including goods in and despatch. You will support a wide range of engineering activities including automation projects, PLC/HMI programming, robotics integration, machine vision systems, process optimisation, SOP development and new product introduction, while ensuring all improvements are effectively implemented and controlled.

The successful candidate will actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, driving operational excellence and supporting the transition from manual and batch-based processes toward smarter automated manufacturing systems aligned with Industry 4.0 principles.

To be considered for this role, you will have 3–5 years’ experience within a manufacturing engineering environment with strong hands-on experience in process automation, continuous improvement and production engineering. You will have working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, robotics, machine vision systems, SCADA and wider electro-mechanical systems, alongside practical experience of Lean manufacturing tools and structured problem-solving methodologies such as FMEA, 8D, 5 Why and SPC.

Applicants should ideally hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent HNC/HND qualification, with Six Sigma Green Belt highly desirable. Experience working within audited ISO manufacturing environments and delivering automation-led improvement projects will be highly advantageous.
