The Role
Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a 130-unit residential scheme.
This is a key role responsible for the commercial management of the project from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial control, cost efficiency, and successful delivery.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and site team, managing all commercial aspects of the scheme while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and the client.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Managing all commercial aspects of a 130-unit development
* Preparing and maintaining cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
* Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
* Managing valuations, variations, and change control
* Producing monthly CVRs and financial reports
* Monitoring project costs and ensuring delivery within budget
* Managing risk and ensuring contractual compliance
* Supporting contract administration (JCT forms)
* Liaising with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders
* Leading the agreement of final accounts
Salary description
£100000.00 - £120000.00 per year
