How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

The Power Systems Engineer will take ownership of energy architecture, ensuring consistent performance across a diverse range of applications, from portable systems to fully autonomous platforms.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will lead the design, integration and validation of battery and power systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and performance under demanding real‑world conditions.

The Power Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

Designing and developing energy systems to support integration across a range of hardware platforms.
Acting as the technical lead for power requirements across electrical, mechanical and systems interfaces.
Ensuring stable and uninterrupted power delivery to embedded systems, sensors and autonomous subsystems.
Developing and implementing thermal management strategies for battery and power systems.
Testing and validating power systems within lab environments and real‑world field conditions.
Supporting compliance and safety testing in line with relevant standards (e.g. UL, IEC, CE)
The Power Systems Engineer will have:

At least 3 years’ hands‑on experience working with battery and power systems in real‑world applications.
Strong understanding of battery chemistries, particularly within low‑temperature or demanding environments.
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience with battery management systems, thermal control and system integration.
Practical experience in prototyping, testing and hardware development (e.g. PCB design, soldering)
The ability to manage technical delivery from concept through to deployment.

This role is well suited to an engineer who thrives on solving complex power challenges and delivering systems that perform in demanding environments. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, apply with your CV to learn more
