How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    An exciting opportunity to join the UK division of a global Chemicals Management software solution provider. Your role will be to use a friendly and consultative approach to build relationships with existing clients, to introduce and on additional software modules to meet their compliance needs, and to develop new relationships with prospective clients to introduce the software solution and its capabilities.

    The software has an excellent reputation and a large global installed base; it is used by many leading names in the chemical industry and companies of all sizes to produce SDSs (Safety Data Sheets), labels, and has a range of other regulatory functionality to help companies achieve their compliance obligations.

    This role will be supporting and working with chemical businesses in the UK and Ireland.

    Full training in the software will be provided so you will develop expert level knowledge of the capabilities, be able to demonstrate the software and advise on the most appropriate solutions. Most of your work will be office based, but there will be some travel for attendance of industry conferences and meetings in order to meet customers.

    This role would be ideal for an existing SDS Author/Regulatory Compliance Professional who is interested in moving into a commercially focussed role. You will ideally have knowledge of CLP and GHS, SDS authoring or review experience along with outgoing and personable communication skills and a desire to succeed in a commercial environment. You will be provided with all the tools and help you need to succeed – but self-motivation, drive and great inter-personal skills are essential.
