Maintenance Technician

BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to join a high-performing engineering team within a fast-paced production environment.
  
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on production equipment
Diagnose and fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Assist with machinery installation, upgrades and commissioning
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and permit-to-work procedures
Support and mentor apprentices where required   
About You & Requirements:

HNC or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance or related discipline
BS7671 qualification
Experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC diagnostics
Experience with CNC machinery is advantageous
