Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Eccles, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs.
This is a full-time role starting ASAP and would suit someone who is patient, nurturing, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs
Supporting the child's learning, communication, and emotional development
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and outside professionals
Adapting learning activities to meet the pupil's individual needs
Encouraging engagement, independence, and positive social interaction
Supporting with personal care where requiredThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience supporting children with SEND or complex needs
Be calm, caring, and resilient
Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Be confident supporting pupils with additional learning or communication needs
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsThe School Offers:
