How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Qualify and onboard new suppliers through structured screening and capability assessments.
Monitor approvals, certifications, and supplier performance against contractual and regulatory obligations.
    Supplier Development & Performance Management

Identify opportunities to improve supplier quality, delivery, and process capability.
Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (8D), and performance recovery plans.
Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Production to align supplier capabilities with product and manufacturing needs.
Maintain and communicate supplier quality metrics, scorecards, and risk profiles.
    Technical Quality Support

Support introduction and validation of new or modified components/subassemblies.
Participate in PPAP, FAIR, or equivalent product validation processes.
Ensure compliance with pressure vessel and safety regulations relevant to supplied components.
    Continuous Improvement

Promote best practices in lean manufacturing, process control, defect reduction, and first-time-right culture among suppliers.
Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on cost reduction, risk mitigation, or product launch readiness.

    What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or related field.
Experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in manufacturing, HVAC, or engineered products.
Strong auditing skills with knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and PED.
Technical knowledge of fabrication, welding, CNC machining, assembly, and quality inspection techniques.
    Full UK Driver’s Licence.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel ~60% to UK and European suppliers.
Formal qualifications in Engineering, Metallurgy, or Manufacturing Technology.
    Certified Lead/Internal Auditor (e.g., IRCA).
Knowledge of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, and copper.
Experience using APQP, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, or other structured quality tools.

    Why You’ll Love This Role:

Shape a world-class supply chain through auditing, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
Engage in mission-critical projects where quality makes a visible impact.
Join a forward-thinking, collaborative team with opportunities for personal growth and career progression.
Travel, challenge, and variety—you’ll never have a dull day.
