This exciting full-time opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic Early Years practitioner who is committed to helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning during the crucial early stages of education. The role is due to begin in December 2025, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support children within a nurturing EYFS classroom environment
Assist in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework
Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils' learning and development
Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication skills
Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
Previous experience working within an Early Years setting in a primary school
A proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
A genuine passion for Early Years education and child development
