How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Company

    The Kito Crosby Group manufactures premium accessories used in lifting and material handling applications for a wide range of industries. Products include wire rope clips, hooks, shackles, lifting clamps, hoist rings, overhaul balls, snatch blocks, crane blocks and sheaves. The Company serves the land-based and offshore energy, construction and infrastructure, cargo handling and towing, marine, mining, and transportation industries.

    About the Role

    Operational Administration:

    • Organising weekly packs for operations
    • Processing of calibration orders, including raising pro-forma invoices
    • Chasing proforma invoices for payment
    • Processing and printing calibration certificates
    • Invoicing any despatched goods
    • Assisting customers with follow up of calibration progress

    Customer Service:

    • Answering calls and enquiries
    • Sending quotes to customers
    • Loading new orders
    • Requesting lead times for orders and quotes from Operations
    • Processing repair orders

    General:

    • Supporting colleagues across the team where required
    • Other duties consistent with the scope/grade of the position as may be required from time to time

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above (including English, Math’s), or equivalent training or experience
    • Associated work-related Degree

    Required Skills

    • Previous office administration
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong administrative experience with a focus on organisational skills
    • Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
    • Familiarity with data entry tasks
    • Customer focused and committed to on-going service improvement, responsive to internal and external customer needs.
    • A good team player with the skills to work within a diverse team
    • Cool and calm under pressure, has organisational skills, integrity, follow-through on tasks, attention to detail
    • Understands the basics and importance of Health and Safety procedures
    • Willingness and aptitude to undergo further training.
    • Hold a full UK driving license - is an advantage
    • Eligible to work with the U.K.
