A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project on the North Hykeham Relief Road scheme with a leading Tier 1 contractor.
This is a long-term contract role with strong potential to transition from contract to permanent for the right candidate.

£630 per day Umbrella PAYE
Lodge allowance available if required
45 hours per week (08:00 - 17:30)
6-9 month contract with potential temp-to-perm opportunity

Project Overview
Working on a major £110m highways infrastructure scheme involving complex structures, including a 100m span bridge and additional overbridge works.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a commercial team of 4-5 staff
Overseeing project commercial performance and reporting
Managing change control processes and contractual matters
Supporting delivery teams across highways and structures packages
Ensuring commercial procedures and project controls are maintained
Liaising with operational and senior management teams
Requirements
Strong background within highways and/or structures projects
Previous experience in a Managing QS or Senior QS capacity
Experience working on major civil engineering infrastructure schemes
Strong understanding of change control and NEC contracts
Able to manage commercial teams and stakeholder relationships effectively
No take-offs are involved in this role
