How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role summary:

    In conjunction with the other Team Managers, manage the team through forward planning and performance management ensuring that all KPI's and SLA's are met for the Customer

    Key responsibilities

    * Compliance with all security standards required surrounding Customer / Clients contracts.

    * Delivery of Customer SLA's.

    * Undertake regular reviews of volume forecast and amend resource planning as appropriate.

    * Performance Management of Operational Team.

    * Conduct 121's and appraisals for Operations Team.

    * Ensure daily performance information is produced, variances investigated appropriate action taken.

    * Swift and clear communication to Operational Team.

    * Clear control measures in place to deliver and drive KPI achievements.

    * Compliance with Health & Safety.

    * Motivation and engagement of Northampton team.

    * Encourage a positive working environment that delivers excellent service levels for the Customer.

    * To have a flexible approach towards shift patterns in order to be able to work between both AM and PM shifts are the operation requires.

    * Ensure all SOP's are adhered to.

    * Delivering great Customer Service - every time

    Essential criteria for this role

    * Previous experience in the mail or distribution industry
