Senior Quality Inspector

Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking Senior Quality Inspectors to join their team in Barrow on a 12-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-stakes projects within the submarine solutions division and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Analyse and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Document and report any discrepancies or issues found during inspections
Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve quality-related issues
Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings
Provide input on the development and improvement of quality inspection procedures
Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements:

Experience in Quality Engineering, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work effectively under shift patterns, including night shifts
Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and continuous improvement
