Client: Major UK Energy Infrastructure Contractor
We are currently looking for an experienced Gateman / Civil Operative with their Competent Person (NSI 6&8 Full) to join a major National Grid 400kV substation project at Pembroke.
This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile transmission infrastructure project, ideal for someone with existing National Grid site experience and the correct authorisations.
The Role:
Managing access and egress to site
Controlling personnel and vehicle movements
Ensuring site access procedures are followed at all times
Supporting the wider civils team as required
Maintaining site safety standards and compliance
Assisting with general operative duties where neededEssential Requirements:
NSI 6 & 8 Full (National Grid authorisation)
Manual Handling
Previous experience working on live National Grid substation projects
Strong understanding of site safety procedures
