How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    A welcoming school in Milton Keynes is currently seeking a SEN Behaviour Mentor to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

    The school in Milton Keynes is looking for a strong, resilient, and driven SEN Behaviour Mentor who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support to pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties. You will play a key role in helping students access learning, regulate emotions, and develop confidence within the school environment.

    As a SEN Behaviour Mentor, you will provide dedicated support to pupils with SEN and behavioural needs, helping them engage positively within the classroom and wider school environment. The role will involve promoting emotional regulation, encouraging positive behaviour strategies, and supporting both social and academic development.

    Responsabilities of a SEN Behaviour Mentor in Milton Keynes:

    Providing 1:1 and small group classroom support
    Supporting behaviour management strategies
    Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
    Encouraging engagement in learning activities
    Supporting emotional regulation and resilience
    Assisting with social interaction and communication skills
    Monitoring progress and providing feedback to staff

    The Ideal SEN Behaviour Mentor in Milton Keynes:

    Experience working with children or young people with SEN and SEMH needs
    Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, SEN TA, Youth Worker, or Support Worker
    A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
    The ability to remain resilient in challenging situations
