How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Staff work collaboratively to create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment where every student is encouraged to succeed both academically and personally.

    The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students. The role involves supporting both educational and emotional development while helping pupils build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Plan and deliver engaging lessons suited to pupils with additional needs

    * Differentiate learning to meet EHCP outcomes and individual learning styles

    * Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

    * Work closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders

    * Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback

    * Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

    * Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

    The Ideal Candidate

    * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS preferred)

    * Experience working within SEN, alternative provision, or mainstream settings with additional needs

    * Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills

    * Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach

    * Passionate about inclusive education and pupil development

    * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

    What the School Offers

    * Supportive and welcoming leadership team

    * Smaller class sizes and personalised learning approach

    * Ongoing CPD and training opportunities

    * Excellent SEN support network and resources

    * Rewarding role where you can genuinely change lives

Whether you are an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we would love to hear from you
