We’re recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working within a busy production environment and is comfortable working rotating days and nights shifts.

The Role:
Working as part of the site engineering team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production and packaging machinery across the factory.
You’ll be heavily involved in:
* Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
* Reactive breakdown support
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Supporting production uptime and machine reliability
* Continuous improvement activities
* Working closely with production operators and fellow engineers
You’ll Be Working On:
* Motors, drives and control panels
* PLC-controlled machinery
* Sensors, inverters and relays
* Pneumatic and automated production equipment
* High-speed manufacturing and packaging machinery
What We’re Looking For:
* Electrically biased maintenance background
* Experience working within a factory / manufacturing environment
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills
* Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
* Ability to work well under pressure in a production environment
* Positive attitude and strong team ethic
* Comfortable working rotating days and nights shifts
Ideal Backgrounds Could Include:
FMCG/Packaging/Printing/Food manufacturing//Automated production/General manufacturing
