Quantity Surveyor

My Client is a leading national provider of Mechanical Service Installations to high-profile clients across Ireland. The company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costings across a wide range of projects. This role presents a unique opportunity to join a growing organisation and develop a long-term career within the business.

Main Responsibilities:

Evaluate the terms and conditions of sub-contractors and contracts, with emphasis on risk, programme, terms & conditions, and design responsibility.
Prepare tender risk analyses based on standard formats and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.
Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
Provide advice on contractual claims, including analysis of outcomes, forecasting, and reporting as required.
Prepare and present monthly company reports for each project and/or business review, in line with company formats and standards.
Assist in the preparation of monthly commercial reports.
Support the Estimation Department from time to time in the preparation of estimates.
Ensure client relationships are enhanced to maximise current and future opportunities.
Take off, price, and track variations for submission to clients.
Take off, price, and track tender returns in a timely manner.

The Candidate:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Certificate or Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Studies, or a related discipline.
Ability to work on own initiative while also being a strong team player.
Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently, maximise productivity, and meet challenging deadlines.
A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.

€85,000 - €100,000 DOE
