How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to become an integral part of our school community. This is more than just a job — this is a chance to support young minds, collaborate with passionate teachers and help every pupil reach their full potential.

    Why choose us?
We believe in doing things the right way — building relationships on understanding and respect, being transparent and accountable. Just like PK Education, we champion integrity, clarity and professionalism in everything we do.

    About the Role

Provide classroom support under the direction of teachers, helping to create an inclusive and effective learning environment.
Assist pupils individually or in small groups, including offering support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), when required.
Help prepare and organise resources, assist in delivering lessons, monitor progress and support behaviour management strategies.
Promote positive relationships with pupils, encouraging high aspirations and resilience.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including break/lunch duties and supporting extra-curricular activities as appropriate.
You are caring, patient and motivated, with a genuine desire to help children learn and grow.
Experience working with children in a school or educational environment, or relevant transferable experience (volunteering, tutoring) is desirable.
Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Flexibility: able to adapt to different situations, support various year-groups and work as part of a team.
A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) are preferred. SEN experience would be a strong advantage.
A supportive and friendly school culture where your contribution is valued.
Opportunities for professional development and training to help you flourish in your role.
A role where you can see the tangible impact of your work — inspiring potential every single day.
A safe, inclusive and respectful working environment built on the same ethical foundation our recruitment partner upholds.
