Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
* Carry out commissioning, calibration and servicing of bespoke engineering equipment on customer sites.
* Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical faults.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and customer site requirements.
* Provide excellent customer support and technical advice when on site.
* Travel regularly throughout the designated regional area with occasional overnight stays where required.
* Promote high standards of Health & Safety and quality compliance at all times, adhere to site safety regulations, permit to work systems and risk assessments.
Field Service Engineer Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in an Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical engineering.
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
* Previous experience working with calibration equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics and technical drawings.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Flexible approach to travel and customer site work.
* IT literate with experience using service reporting systems.
* Full UK driving licence.
Field Service Engineer Benefits:
* Salary £46,000 to £48,000 DOE.
