About the Role:
As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for the daily operations of a small but highly skilled team, ensuring the efficient assembly of complex electronic products in small to medium volumes. Key Responsibilities for the Team Lead job in Woking, Surrey:

Lead and manage a team of three specialised assembly technicians.

Operate and program pick and place machines, including a 3x ASM SX line.

Oversee the use of additional equipment such as 3D AOI, Selective Soldering, X-Ray, and Conformal-Coating machines.

Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed and liaise with suppliers for machine maintenance.
*
Allocate resources effectively and provide technical leadership on key projects.
*
Collaborate with stakeholders on resource forecasting and project planning.
*
Support DFM (Design for Manufacture), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFT (Design for Test) with the NPI team.
*
Lead production and inspection activities to ensure products meet the highest quality standards.
*
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with ISO9001 standards.

Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
