How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Job Title: Project Coordinator / NPI Project Manager
    Location: Durham, North East England
Salary: £35 - 45K per annum + Early Finish Fridays

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing business looking to strengthen its project delivery team with the addition of a Project Coordinator / NPI Project Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across engineering and manufacturing teams, building strong customer relationships, and helping bring new products into production successfully.

The business is currently investing heavily in improving and evolving its internal processes, systems, and ways of working. It’s an exciting stage of growth. The company is established enough to offer stability, but still agile enough that you’ll have genuine influence, the opportunity to introduce ideas, and the chance to put your own stamp on how projects are delivered moving forward.

You’ll work closely alongside an experienced senior project professional who will provide support and mentorship, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in project management long term.
The company is also happy to support professional development and will fund recognised project management qualifications for the right candidate.

    Who This Could Suit

We’re open-minded on background and experience level.
You may already be managing projects within an engineering or manufacturing environment, or you could currently be working in:

    Production planning
    Manufacturing coordination
    Engineering support
    Operations
    Project administration
Supply chain or procurement within a project-led environment What matters most is that you understand how projects move through a manufacturing business and can coordinate people, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
Experience within electronics manufacturing would be highly advantageous, but candidates from broader technical manufacturing sectors will also be considered, particularly those involved in transferring products from engineering into production.

    What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinating projects from initial customer requirements through to manufacturing delivery
Working cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams
Tracking timelines, risks, costs, and project milestones
Supporting customer communication and providing regular progress updates
Helping ensure projects remain aligned to scope, quality, and delivery expectations
Maintaining project documentation, reports, and technical records
Supporting continuous improvement activity across project processes
Contributing to a collaborative and solutions-focused team culture What We’re Looking For
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, or technical production environments
    Strong organisational and communication skills
    A proactive and adaptable mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep activities progressing
Commercial awareness and understanding of customer expectations
Comfortable working with technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing information
A collaborative approach with strong stakeholder communication skills What’s On Offer
    Competitive salary
    Early finish every Friday
    Training and career development support
Funding for professional project management qualifications
Mentorship from an experienced Project Manager
Opportunity to influence and improve processes
A business environment where you can grow alongside the company If you’re looking for a role where you can develop your project management career, gain exposure across engineering and manufacturing, and genuinely make an impact within a growing business, we’d love to hear from you
