ADM Pressings is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to high-quality standards while working safely and efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Prepare materials and equipment prior to welding operations
* Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
* Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times
* Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately
* Experience with MIG welding essential; TIG welding experience desirable
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Relevant welding qualifications or certifications preferred
