About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and professional fabrication workshop working on a wide variety of high-quality steel projects. The work is varied, interesting, and includes both architectural and structural steel fabrication for commercial and residential developments.
You will be part of a skilled team producing precision-engineered steelwork to high standards, with opportunities to work on bespoke and complex fabrication projects.
Key responsibilities
* Fabrication and welding of architectural and structural steelwork
* Working from detailed engineering drawings with accuracy
* Producing high-quality finished products to specification
* Working independently and as part of a workshop team
* Occasional site or customer-based work when required
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency
Candidate requirements
* Proven experience in steel fabrication and welding
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience in both architectural and structural steelwork
* Ability to work independently using initiative
* Good communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude
* Reliable and committed approach to work
Desirable (not essential)
* Supervisory or leadership experience within a fabrication environment
