How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Review, assess and improve existing manufacturing processes and workflows

    * Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities

    * Lead projects from concept, through design and commissioning, into full production

    * Specify requirements, support vendor selection and commission new equipment

    * Develop standard ways of working to ensure effective use of resources

    * Create SOPs and safe working practices in collaboration with HSE

    * Implement best practice for process and operational excellence across the business

    What We’re Looking For

    Essential experience:

    * Experience within a manufacturing environment

    * At least 2 years in a process improvement or engineering role

    * Strong understanding of mechanical machinery

    * Confident problem‑solver with a data‑driven mindset

    * Experience using Kaizen or continuous improvement principles

    * Ability to write clear, concise operating procedures

    Desirable experience:

    * Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering

    * Experience within non‑woven, conversion or medical device manufacturing

    * Familiarity with ISO 13485

    Personal attributes:

    * Hands‑on and proactive

    * Strong communication and influencing skills

    * Well organised with good planning skills

    * A collaborative team player

    * Confident decision‑maker with good IT skills

    * Eager to learn and continuously improve
