How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and nurturing early years setting in Hertfordshire, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner who is committed to supporting young children's development during their crucial early learning stages. The role will involve working as part of a supportive EYFS team, delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5, and helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.

    Job Responsibilities

    Support the planning and delivery of engaging EYFS activities in line with the Early Years Framework
    Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children
    Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support development and next steps
    Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to promote positive outcomes for pupils
    Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to support learning and wellbeing
    Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all timesQualifications/Experience

    Previous experience working as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner
    Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
    A caring and enthusiastic approach to early years education
    Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
