Simply Education is currently recruiting dedicated and confident Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Middlewich area, starting September 2025. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in schools, especially those considering a future in teaching, education support, or youth work.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include delivering pre-set lesson materials to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with their learning. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policy and promoting a positive learning environment. Encouraging independent learning, resilience, and participation in lessons. Supervising students across a range of subjects and Key Stages (KS3 & KS4).
We're Looking For:
Strong communicators with the ability to lead a classroom confidently. Passion for education and a genuine desire to support student development. Previous experience working with young people in any setting (education, sports, mentoring, youth services) is beneficial. A calm, organised, and professional manner. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
