How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Overveiw:

    We are currently recruiting for a committed and adaptable Year 3/4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the S43 area. The school is part of a well-established and supportive multi-academy trust, offering a strong network of professional support and collaboration. This is a full-time, fixed-term role starting on 1st July until the end of the academic year.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for a mixed Year 3/4 class.

    * Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

    * Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress in line with school expectations.

    * Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and behaviour.

    * Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders.

    * Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the values of the trust.

    Requirements:

    * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

    * Strong knowledge and understanding of the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.

    * Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

    * Experience teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class is desirable but not essential.

    * Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to undergo a DBS check.

    * Good classroom management and organisational skills.

    * A flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
