How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Maintaining and developing HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and business needs
Supporting performance management, appraisal and probation processes
Assisting with training and development initiatives across the business
Supporting employee engagement activities alongside the HR Business Partner
Producing HR reports, analysing data and presenting insights to stakeholders
Supporting HRIS systems administration and continuous improvement
Managing central HR inbox queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses
Supporting payroll and HR administrative processes
Assisting with family-friendly leave queries and related employee support
Ensuring compliance requirements are met across HR processes
Providing flexible support across wider HR projects and initiatives as required
    About You

5+ years’ experience in a HR Generalist or HR Officer role
Strong understanding of HR processes, policies and UK employment law
Experience working within a fast-paced, multi-site or shared service environment
Confident handling HR systems (HRIS experience highly desirable)
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple priorities and work with agility
Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working independently
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
Experience within logistics or operational environments would be advantageous
    What’s In It For You?

    Hybrid working model
    Salary up to £40,000
Exposure to a wide and varied HR remit
Opportunity to work across multiple UK business units
Supportive and collaborative HR team environment
Involvement in HR systems, engagement and process improvement projects
Genuine opportunity to develop and grow within a dynamic business
