High Wycombe-based secondary school requires a Teacher of Religious Studies to join their popular humanities department.
The school has a strong reputation for student behaviour, academic improvement, and staff development. The successful Teacher of Religious Studies will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage debate, reflection, and cultural understanding.
As a Teacher of Religious Studies, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons
Encourage respectful discussion and analytical thinking
Support students of varying abilities to achieve progress
Contribute to curriculum enrichment opportunities
Work collaboratively within the humanities department
The school is looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Religious Studies in UK secondary schools
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for developing student curiosity and confidence
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
