The coating operator is responsible for setting up and machines to produce finished label rolls. Previous experience running linerless coating machines is preferred but time served machine operators in other related areas of manufacturing or warehousing would also be considered. This hands-on position thrives in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate Coating/Rewinding Machinery in a safe working manner in line with all company best practices and procedures as required to ensure production targets are met.
* Organise systems to ensure all jobs for print shift are ready.
* Follow instructions and complete within a given timeline
* Manage Silicone/Adhesive consistency during set up and operation.
* Ensure daily schedules are met.
* Complete documentation for traceability and BRC.
* Daily maintenance and care of machinery and working area to ensure that it is kept clean
