What You Will Do:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of prototype parts.

• Negotiate delivery schedules to meet pre-production build requirements and escalate issues where necessary.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support successful prototype build events and ensure all parts are received on time.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring zero build stoppages and point-of-fit losses during prototype builds.

• Organise and oversee shipping collections, ensuring cost-efficient transport modes are utilised.

• Represent the company in supplier meetings, presenting delivery status updates and resolving any identified issues.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in transport planning and managing a portfolio of suppliers during pre-production build phases.

• Experience in supporting production schedules.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build effective supplier relationships.

• Proficiency in logistics data interpretation and IT tools, including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

• A track record of working to KPIs and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
• Knowledge of GPIRS / CMMS and SAP is advantageous.
