Hours: Term Time Only (8:00am – 4:00pm or 9:00am - 3:00pm)

About the Role
Astro Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Assistants to support children aged 0–4 years across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
This is an excellent long term to permanent opportunity for those passionate about Early Years education and looking to build a rewarding and secure career in a supportive nursery environment.
You will work alongside experienced Early Years Practitioners and educators to provide exceptional care, learning and development support for young children.
Key Responsibilities

Support the learning and development of children aged 0–4 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
*
Assist with daily routines, play-based learning, and developmental activities
*
Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
*
Work collaboratively with the nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare
*
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
*
Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
*
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent experience)
*
A caring, patient and professional approach
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Availability to work term time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
