How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Technical Project Manager / Outside IR35/ Hybrid (Surrey) / 3 Month Contract 

    This is a project leadership role in a network‑heavy environment. You’ll oversee the delivery of infrastructure and network initiatives, manage work in flight, support BAU prioritisation, and help the team stay aligned, governed, and focused.

    You’ll be the person who sees the whole board: risks, escalations, dependencies, stakeholders, and outcomes. You don’t need to be a deep network engineer — but you do need to understand the fundamentals well enough to guide conversations, challenge constructively, and translate between business and technical teams.

    Responsibilities:

    Leading infrastructure delivery — planning, coordinating, and driving network & infrastructure projects
    Managing the full project lifecycle — from initiation through to closure
    Supporting team prioritisation — helping the infra team balance BAU, escalations, and in‑flight work
    Owning governance — ensuring change, security, and delivery standards are followed
    Managing risks & escalations
    Coordinating cross‑functional teams
    Driving continuous improvementRequirements: 

    Proven experience delivering complex IT or infrastructure projects -Network Infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, routing, switching, firewalls) & Cloud Enviroments AWS, Azure 
    Strong PM methodology knowledge (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
    Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
    Ability to manage multiple streams, budgets, and timelines
    Solid understanding of networking & infrastructure concepts
    Skilled at prioritisation, governance, and keeping teams aligned
