Job Title: Conveyancing Team Leader/Fee Earner
Location: Dartford/Maidstone/Eltham
Salary: £60k - £80k
Hybrid: 2 days WFH
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Team Leader to oversee a busy residential conveyancing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven legal professional who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service while maintaining high compliance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support a team of conveyancers, paralegals, and support staff
- Monitor team performance, caseloads, and service levels to ensure targets are met
- Provide technical guidance on complex conveyancing matters
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Conduct regular file reviews and audits
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and client experience
- Handle a reduced caseload of residential conveyancing files (if required)
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Fee Earner
- Proven experience managing or supervising a conveyancing team
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong focus on client care and service delivery
Desirable
- Experience with case management systems
- Track record of improving team performance and efficiency
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and risk management
