How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Lead UI/UX Designer, Ecommerce Agency - £70k-£90k Premium, High Street Brands, Remote (must be UK based)

We are working with a highly regarded ecommerce agency that partners with well-known retail, lifestyle and premium consumer brands to create beautiful, high-performing digital shopping experiences.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Lead UI/UX Designer who can bring together two things that are surprisingly rare to find in one person: exceptional visual UI craft and proper UX thinking.

Our client is looking for someone with a portfolio that makes people stop and say, “wow.” You will need to show polished, premium digital design work, ideally for ecommerce, retail, fashion, lifestyle, luxury, DTC or high street brands, alongside evidence that your design decisions improve journeys, usability and conversion.

    Your role will involve:

You will lead the design of ecommerce experiences across websites, journeys and digital products, taking ideas from discovery through to polished, responsive UI. You will work closely with clients, strategists, developers and project teams to create ecommerce experiences that are not only visually impressive, but commercially effective.

This role would suit someone who loves designing beautiful interfaces, understands how customers shop online, and can confidently explain the thinking behind their decisions.

You will be designing high quality ecommerce experiences across areas such as homepages, product listing pages, product detail pages, basket, checkout, account areas, navigation and campaign landing pages.

You will lead UX thinking across user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture and conversion focused improvements.

You will create polished UI designs in Figma, building on brand guidelines or helping shape new digital design directions.

Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are feasible, consistent and delivered to a high standard.

Presenting design work to clients and internal teams with confidence, clarity and commercial awareness.

You will help raise the standard of design across projects, bringing taste, detail and strong creative judgement.

    We need you to have:

Strong experience across UI and UX design, ideally in ecommerce or consumer facing digital experiences.

A standout portfolio showing premium, polished, responsive UI design.

Experience designing ecommerce journeys such as PDPs, PLPs, basket, checkout, navigation, landing pages or full website redesigns.

Excellent Figma skills, including components, responsive layouts and design system thinking.

A strong understanding of UX principles, user flows, wireframing, prototyping and usability.

An eye for detail across typography, spacing, hierarchy, interaction states, imagery and brand expression.

The confidence to lead design conversations with clients and stakeholders.

Experience working in an agency, consultancy, ecommerce or fast-paced digital product environment.

    Nice to have:

Experience working with premium, retail, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, homeware, luxury or high street brands would also be highly relevant.

    About you:

You will be someone who genuinely cares about craft. You know when a layout feels right, when a journey has too much friction, and when a design needs that extra level of polish.

You will be able to show a portfolio that proves you can create ecommerce experiences that look beautiful and perform brilliantly.

Please apply with your CV and portfolio we are especially interested in seeing examples of premium ecommerce UI, responsive design, product journeys, checkout or conversion-focused work, and projects where you owned both the UX thinking and final UI execution
