Position: Cover Teacher
Location: Oldbury
Pay: £115 + per day
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role:
As a Drama Cover Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to secondary students. You’ll ensure classes run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-set lessons to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
*
Maintain classroom control and a positive learning atmosphere
*
Support students with their learning and behaviour
*
Follow school policies and procedures
*
Provide feedback to teaching staff after cover lessons
Requirements:
*
Previous experience working in a secondary school setting
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills
*
Confidence teaching across a range of subjects
*
Suitable for Cover Supervisors or experienced Teaching Assistants ready to step up
