is currently recruiting for a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in County Durham after May half term. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT looking to work within a supportive and successful English department.

The Role
Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Full-time role running until the end of the academic year
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
