How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Help tell the story behind the projects that shape tomorrow’s built environment. At Morson Praxis, we’re the technical consultancy that actually delivers what it designs — and behind every successful project is a compelling, well-coordinated proposal that wins the work.

We’re looking for a motivated Graduate Bid Coordinator to join our growing team and support the coordination and development of tender submissions across infrastructure, energy, defence and public sector programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in bids, proposals and business development within a fast-paced, technical consultancy environment.

If you’re organised, detail-driven and enjoy working with people, information and deadlines, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for a Graduate Bid Coordinator to support the preparation and coordination of high-quality tender submissions.

Based at our head office, you’ll work closely with the Bid Manager and technical teams across the business, with hybrid flexibility once established in the role.

    Who We Are

At Morson Praxis, we deliver engineering and technical consultancy that supports the development and delivery of major projects across infrastructure, energy, defence and the built environment.

As part of the Morson Group, we combine specialist expertise with the scale and reach of a leading technical organisation. Our teams work with government bodies, local authorities, infrastructure providers and construction partners to deliver complex, high-impact projects.

Our bid team plays a vital role in securing this work — bringing structure, coordination and clarity to the proposal process while working closely with engineers, project managers and subject matter experts.

    What You’ll Do

As a Graduate Bid Coordinator, you will support the organisation, coordination and delivery of bid submissions, including:

    * Coordinating bid activities, timelines and submission requirements to ensure deadlines are met

    * Supporting the preparation of structured, high-quality tender responses

    * Interpreting tender documentation and helping organise responses in line with client requirements

    * Working closely with the Bid Manager and technical teams to gather required information

    * Assisting with writing, editing and formatting proposal content, case studies and supporting documents

    * Coordinating documentation for submissions, including PQQs and supporting materials

    * Ensuring submissions are compliant, complete and professionally presented

    * Maintaining and updating bid libraries, templates and company information

    * Supporting communication between stakeholders, contributors and reviewers throughout the bid process

    * Assisting with continuous improvement of bid processes and tools

    What You’ll Gain

Starting your career at Morson Praxis will give you valuable exposure to how major engineering and infrastructure projects are secured.

    In this role, you’ll:

    * Develop strong coordination, organisation and project support skills

    * Gain experience in bid and proposal development within a technical consultancy

    * Learn how organisations win work through competitive tendering

    * Work closely with engineers, project managers and technical specialists

    * Build communication, stakeholder management and document control skills

This role provides a strong foundation for progression into Bid Writer, Bid Manager or Business Development roles.

    What We’re Looking For

    Essential

    * Strong organisational and time-management skills

    * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

    * Good written and verbal communication skills

    * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

    * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

    * Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint

    Desirable

    * Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English or similar

    * Experience in administration, coordination, bids or project support

    * Interest in engineering, infrastructure or technical consultancy

    * Understanding of structured documentation or public sector processes

    Why Praxis?

💡 Make an impact: Support the coordination of bids that secure major engineering and infrastructure projects.
🚀 Start your career: Build a strong foundation in bids, proposals and business development.
🤝 Collaborate: Work closely with engineers and subject matter experts across the business.
📊 Develop key skills: Gain experience in coordination, communication and project support.
🏢 Belong: Be part of a supportive team within the wider Morson Group.

    What’s in it for you:

26 days annual leave plus bank holidays

    Company-funded professional memberships

Family-friendly policies including enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave

    Life assurance scheme

    24/7 GP access
