Think FE are working with a well-regarded further education college in Northamptonshire that is looking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable Business Lecturer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced FE Business Lecturer or a secondary school Business teacher looking to transition into further education.
The role will involve delivering BTEC Business programmes to learners across a range of levels, supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes while helping them develop the skills needed for progression into employment or higher education.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and high-quality BTEC Business lessons
Plan, prepare and assess learner work in line with awarding body requirements
Support student achievement, retention and progression
Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities
Maintain accurate learner records and provide constructive feedback
What do you need?
A degree in Business or a related subject
A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards an AET (Level 3 Award in Education and Training)
Experience teaching Business Studies in either further education or secondary education
