How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    JOB TITLE – DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

    Location: Hull (Occasional Travel Required)

    Type: 12-18 month contract

    Salary: Circa £50,000

    Job Summary:

    * We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in the East Yorkshire region. This is a commercially focused and data‑driven digital marketing position, responsible for leading the organisation’s digital strategy and ensuring all online activity drives measurable growth. The role plays a central part in how the business attracts, engages and retains customers through digital channels, with full ownership of campaign performance, optimisation and digital effectiveness.

    Main Duties:

    * Own and deliver the digital marketing strategy across key channels including paid media, search, email and web.

    * Plan, execute and optimise multi‑channel digital campaigns aligned to commercial priorities.

    * Manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring strong ROI and efficient use of spend.

    * Drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement through targeted digital activity.

    * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure digital initiatives support wider business and branch performance.

    Person Specification:

    * Proven experience in digital marketing management, ideally within a multi‑channel environment.

    * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance.

    * Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and delivering measurable results.

    * Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and work cross‑functionally.

    * Proactive, strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and the ability to take ownership
