We are excited to recruit a talented and nurturing Music Teacher to work with primary-aged pupils with complex needs in our specialist SEN school in Bow.
This role is ideal for a teacher who believes music can transform communication, confidence, and emotional wellbeing for children with additional needs.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver sensory and interactive music lessons
Adapt music activities for pupils with autism and severe learning difficulties
Use music to support communication and engagement
Organise small performances and enrichment opportunities
Work collaboratively with class teams and therapistsWe are looking for:
A qualified teacher or experienced music specialist
Experience working with SEND pupils preferred
Creativity, flexibility, and a calm, nurturing approach
Knowledge of sensory curriculum approaches advantageousBenefits:
