I’m working with a growing contractor delivering works across local authority and framework-led projects, who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with both Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors.
This would suit commercially minded surveyors who are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and want genuine responsibility within a supportive team structure.
The Role
Managing commercial and contractual responsibilities from pre-con through to final account
Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
Valuations, cost reporting, forecasting and financial control
Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors and clients
Identifying cost-saving and value engineering opportunities
Supporting wider commercial strategy and project delivery
What they’re looking for
Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor background
Experience within:
Schedule of Rates (SOR) works
Void works
Local authority / framework contracts
Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive and solutions-focused approach
