Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a well-established early years setting in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a supportive and nurturing environment.
We are looking for a confident practitioner who is passionate about early years education and committed to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Support, mentor, and guide other staff within the room
Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (EYFS)
At least 3 years' experience working within a nursery or early years setting
Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior role is desirable
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A proactive and positive approach to teamwork
