Electrician

Are you an experienced Industrial Electrician looking to work in a highly advanced engineering and technical environment? We are seeking skilled electricians to support maintenance, installation, and operational activities within a complex industrial facility.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale plant systems, specialist equipment, power distribution networks, and cutting-edge engineering infrastructure within a safety-critical environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, installation, and commissioning activities across a wide range of industrial systems and equipment. The role involves both planned preventative maintenance and reactive support to ensure operational reliability and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Planned and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems
Fault finding and repair of motors, drives, switchgear, and control systems
Installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and plant systems
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
Supporting shutdowns, upgrades, and engineering projects
Working safely within permit-to-work and isolation procedures
Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation
Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and contractors across site

What We're Looking For

18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Proven industrial electrical maintenance experience
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
Experience working with industrial plant equipment and power systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to health and safety standards

Desirable Experience

PLC and control systems knowledge
HV or authorised person experience
Experience in heavy industrial, utilities, process plant, or research environments
Inspection and testing qualifications
Familiarity with CMMS maintenance systems
